Applicants should have a degree in architecture from an accredited college, 3-5 years of working experience in schematic design through construction document phases, consultant coordination and proficiency in AutoCAD. Proficiency with 3D modeling programs, 3Ds Max rendering, Adobe Creative Suite programs and Revit is a plus. Salary is based on experience and abilities.

WPA, a small architectural practice based in London NW3 wish to appoint.

- A senior architect with considerable design and job-running experience.
- An experienced technical architect/technician.
- A graduate /newly qualified architect.
- Experienced drafting personnel.

Involvement would be at all stages from Feasibility to Completion. Projects are typically in the range of £0.5-£10m and require to be fully designed and tendered using NEC3 contract.

Day to day responsibilities will include assisting in the design, planning and documentation phase of technologically advanced structures and buildings, mainly on demanding projects in a highly regulated environment. For the more senior roles, it will also involve guiding/leading of the internal project team throughout the design and construction phase, ensuring that the project remains both on time and on budget. For the technical architect/technician, knowledge of specification and detailing of materials is also essential.

You should possess excellent 2D/3D CAD skills and ideally you’ll have knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) and rail project experience, however this is not essential. Knowledge of NBS would be an advantage.

In the first instance, the appointments may be temporary, however if extended there is considerable potential for personal growth and development. Salary based on experience and ability.
