This is a unique opportunity to work on exciting, high profile projects for blue-chip clients within interdisciplinary project teams.
Key day-to-day tasks of the Workplace Interior Designer include:
- Liaising and presenting to clients and stakeholders.
- Making key decisions and taking responsibility for projects from day one.
- Helping to deliver the high standard of comprehensive and integrated building design services.
- Driving concepts from inception to site completion.
- Mentoring and guiding less senior staff.
Key attributes of the Workplace Interior Designer include:
- Exceptional design skills.
- Strong experience. Around 5-10 years gained working in the commercial workplace sector within a successful design firm.
- Relevant experience of briefing, space-planning, concept design development, package production and implementation through to on-site post- completion review.
- A strong team-working ethos. Working effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds.
- A good working knowledge of AutoCad and/or Microstation, Excel, Powerpoint, Sketch-up and Photoshop. An understanding of Revit and InDesign would be desirable although not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.

We are a small design studio with great clients and a variety of project types. Active projects include institutional (academic), residential and commercial work. We are seeking a talented junior architect to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Candidates should have an excellent attention to detail, experience producing construction documents, 3D computer modeling skills, physical model making and graphic design production skills.
Ideal candidates will meet the qualifications below for consideration:
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience working on architectural projects from concept to completion.
- Experience with Mac based CAD software (preferably Vectorworks).
- Graphic skills and proficiency in Adobe CS and Sketchup.
- Strong organizational, collaborative and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines.
