Our work comprises of mostly healthcare and commercial projects located throughout NYC, NJ, and NY. This is a great opportunity for a serious individual looking for growth potential within a firm.

Applicant should be a self-motivated and outgoing individual with 7-10 years of office experience and an Accredited Degree in Interior Architecture or BS in Architecture degree. Strong skills in Finish and Color Selection, ability to draft and coordinate a full set of interior construction documents, and communication with clients, contractors, and product representatives is a must. Background in healthcare design a plus. Salary commensurate on experience.

Requirements and responsibilities:

- Solid knowledge of current commercial grade materials and finishes.
- Manage Office Material Library and consult with product representatives.
- Creation of Presentation and Finish Boards.
- Experience in site surveying and drafting existing conditions.
- Ability to take a project from Schematic Design through Construction Documents and into Construction Administration.
- Knowledge and understanding of interior construction and specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch-Up, 3D Studio Max.
- Ability to create 3D renderings.
- Graphic Skills and utilization of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Microsoft Office.
- PC based platform.

We are seeking an architect / urban designer with particular experience in town centres, new community and urban mixed use project design.

Golden Brick Construction Inc. specializes in the practice of city shaping and place making and operates in a studio-like environment with offices in North Vancouver, British Columbia with a diverse mix of local and international projects.

If you possess an internationally recognized degree in architecture (or more) with cross-disciplinary skills and experience in mixed use and environmentally sustainable developments of varied scale, we encourage you to apply. Knowledge of Farsi language will be an asset.

The position requires strong problem solving skills and design, technical, and graphic communication abilities with at least five years (or more) of broad project, contract, and practice management experience in architectural design and planning. Being engaged with environmentally sustainable design discourse will be an asset.
