Senior/ Project Architect (Job No. 2014-24), administration and housing projects
- Contribute to the creative and drawing process during conceptual design, schematic design and design development.
- Create and adapt computer modeled or hand-drawn designs for buildings and everyday objects.
- Know the building code and construction documentation processes in order to properly create designs.
- Work closely with local Architects and perform quality check of their drawings regularly.
- Coordinate construction projects with all others involve planning partner firms and internal design team members.
- Make sure all drawings submissions are in line with the project time schedule.
- Assist Directors and Project Managers in the design phases to generate designs.
- Assist team in developing and implementing design concepts for both interior and building projects.
- Mentor younger staff to develop their design skills.
- Team player and ability to work in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Require traveling within Germany to render your services and work in other locations.
Desired skills and experiences:
- Degree in Architecture from a local university or university accredited with the Board of Architects.
- Preferably registered with the Board of Architects in Germany.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Project Architect.
- Office and administration building planning experience will be of strong advantage.
- Good in design, planning, project management and site experience.
- Design competency will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in the latest versions 2D AutoCAD, 3D SketchUp, 3D rendering, BIM (ArchiCAD17)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Entourage, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent English (German language will be of advantage).

We will be interviewing in the new-year for a RIBA qualified architect with 3-5+ years post part III experience. Your previous projects should include specific experience of working on some of the following highly serviced buildings for example high spec and sustainable University buildings, laboratories and schools.
Applicants should combine demonstrable design and communication skills with proven technical and organisational abilities. Have experience of producing detailed construction information and carrying projects through to completion on site. Familiarity with UK Construction legislation and technology in practice including a sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent English speaking and writing skills, be well organised and have a proven track record of having worked independently and as part of a team through all work stages of projects. Experience in leading specific packages of a project or in team management is advantageous.
Fluency in Revit, Sketchup and the Adobe Creative Suite is a minimum.
