Shadow Architects is a New York City based firm focusing on high-end residential and restaurant work, as well as some commercial office interiors and ground-up house construction. The company is growing and we are looking for a senior project architect to take the reins on multiple projects and to share responsibility for general operations of the office. Candidates should be passionate about architecture, dedicated, personable, and confident dealing directly with existing and prospective clients. Must have 6-10 years experience working for a NYC architecture or interior design firm, have strong design skills, and have experience managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities will include design, project management and construction administration, working with project staff (currently 2 full-time intern architects/designers), meeting with prospective clients, budgeting, and writing project proposals. BArch or MArch degree is required as well as good technical knowledge of NYC interior construction, building codes, and Building Department protocols. The office is Mac-based and knowledge of Vectorworks is a plus. Must be an U.S. Resident or F-1 visa holder.
