Wiencek + Associates seeks Project Architect with 3-5 years of experience for our Gaithersburg, MD and Washington, DC offices. Experience must include Demonstrated skill working on scope, schedule and budget of complex projects, Team centered, interactive character, Quick-witted with spatial perception, Self-motivated problem solver, Broad-ranging portfolio of project experience (must include extensive new or renovated multi-family housing), Ability and motivation to mentor less experienced staff.

Expert use of Revit and AutoCAD as a construction document production tool (knowledge of AutoCAD 3D-Studio or SketchUp, a plus), Expert use of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint, min.), Advanced computer graphic skills (Adobe Photoshop preferred).

Standard Architects is a busy 10-person architectural firm located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are currently seeking a Junior Architect. Successful candidates will have excellent design and 3D modeling skills, experience working in a collaborative environment developing project documentation on complex projects and demonstrate effective problem solving and communication skills. This position also requires proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of 3D modeling as part of the design and documentation process. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
