Project Architect / Designer
03/12/2014We are a dynamic and contemporary design firm that specializes in new construction/renovation of residential and mixed-used buildings. Rapidly expanding with a unique opportunity for long term growth potential. We are currently looking for a full time, experienced "Project Architect/Designer" to join our design team.
- Must have Minimum of 3-5(+) years NYC experience designing & leading small to large/complex buildings.
- Must have a Bachelor's of Architecture.
- Must be a very organized leader with excellent communication skills.
- Confident enough to be the liaison between office, clients, contractors and consultants.
- Must have experience with CD's, building & facade design.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge of NYC zoning and building code.
- Must be mastered in AutoCAD Architecture [v.2014 a plus]
- Experience with residential and mixed-use buildings a plus.
- Strong detailing is a plus.
- Job lead/captain, managing projects from concept to finish is a huge plus.
- Strong renderers will be considered as well.

Our practice is focused on a wide-range of project types including multi-family housing, mixed use and commercial projects – all of which emphasize urbanism, environmental performance and design innovation. Competitive candidates will exhibit design talent, be detail oriented, work well in a collaborative environment, and possess a strong work ethic. We expect the best candidates to have 2-5 years of experience, knowledge of light frame construction, and working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Vray and Adobe Suite. Ability to work independently producing and coordinating construction documents is essential.
