Responsibilities:

- Designing, drafting, and detailing from schematic design through design development and construction document phases.

Qualifications:

- Experience and ability to produce detailed and coordinated construction documents.
- Comfort with multi-tasking and collaboration within a context of fast-paced projects.
- Work examples that demonstrate, in addition to technical excellence, a strong design sensibility.
- Knowledge of architectural practice and construction in general.
- Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 consecutive years’ relevant experience (post-grad).
- Autocad proficiency and adobe creative suite a must, 3D (Sketchup) proficiency a plus.
- Some familiarity with NYC building codes.
- Currently living in NY area, available to start within 3 weeks of interview.
- Excellent English language communication skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employer sponsorship.

Award-winning boutique architectural / interior design studio looking for a Project Architect to join our highly creative and growing firm. Opportunities for rapid advancement and partnership available to highly motivated individuals.

Applicant must have 6 to 10 years of project architect / project manager experience for commercial interior projects.

Must have restaurant, hotel, retail design experience. Only those with experience in restaurant, hotel, retail design will be considered.

Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, have good verbal, communication and collaboration skills and be willing to perform both Project Architect and Project Management duties on multiple projects simultaneously.

Applicant should meet the following requirements:

- Proficiency in Autocad, Photoshop, Word and Excel. Rhino, 3-d modeling and V-Ray skills a plus.
- Ability to manage all phases of projects from concept design through construction administration,
- Ability to manage project scheduling, budgets and coordinate bidding process.
- Experience and competency in supervision and production of drafting and detailing.
- Experience and competency coordinating with owners, consultants and contractors.
- Full working knowledge of ADA requirements, building codes and standards.
- Legally able to work in the United States.
