We are seeking intermediate architects/designer with 6-8 years’ experience in major international architecture firms that have participated or completed large-scale projects before. Experience with high-profile iconic projects are highly preferred. The intermediate architect position will be based in MAD’s Los Angeles office. Our current projects include high-rises, mixed-use developments and cultural projects in China, US, and Europe. The ideal candidate should also be extremely professional, possess strong Design and also communication skills. The ideal candidate should:

- Possess bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture.
- .Have minimum 6 years of experience, especially those that have participated and completed large scale projects at top tier international design firms.
- Experience with high-profile iconic projects are highly preferred.
- Support Project Architect, by being able to direct and coach part of design teams to ensure overall design quality, scheduling and execution.
- Has expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software such as Maxwell.
- Has good communication skills to communicate and understand Partners’ design intention, be able to transfer Partner’s sketch/ideas to 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Be experienced in SD and DD drawings and has strong knowledge in the profession. Possess the skills to communicate work details in every step of SD, DD phases, and be very familiar with materials.
- Can keep up with a fast-paced work environment and deal with obstacles and tight deadlines with a positive attitude. The candidate should also be out-going, strong communicator and able to priorities and handle multi-tasks when he/she is required to do so.

My client, one of the top international design studios, has an immediate opportunity for a Lead Architect in their Dubai office to lead the design, development and coordination of projects.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a project from Brief to Tender Documentation.
- Graphic presentation, report writing, clients relationship management.
- Follow company reporting procedure.
- Project and Programme Management skills.

Experience/qualifications:

Candidates must be degree qualified with at least 8 years' post qualification experience including leading and delivering high profile, complex projects to delivery.

A minimum of 5 years' hospitality project experience is essential.

Project management experience and control/graphic presentation skills also required.

Candidates should have strong IT skills and experience of working on projects within BIM design environments using Revit would be beneficial.
