We are currently seeking a motivated, technically strong Intermediate Architect with excellent Construction Document skills. Candidate should demonstrate capacity to think critically and solve complex problems. Must exhibit understanding of building details, residential space planning, building and accessibility codes.

Responsibilities:

- Develop construction documents for high rise buildings.
- Collaborate with project team.
- Meet with outside consultants and manufacturers as required.
- Candidate must be prepared to work within tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

- B.Arch or M.Arch degree.
- Minimum of three years full-time experience in NYC multi-family housing developments.
- Strong organization, team building and relationship management skills.
- Keen sense of personal responsibility and pride in work.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Proficiency in Revit is required.

Michaelis Boyd is a well-established West London design led practice currently working on a number of very exciting projects in the UK and internationally.

Due to a growing portfolio of projects Michaelis Boyd is looking for a passionate and creative Part III with at least 5 years proven experience.

This role requires a strong self motivated designer with experience of large scale residential projects, internationally recognised for their high quality and unique design, including conversion and re-use of existing buildings.

The following skills are required:

- Experience of multidisciplinary coordination.
- Good hand drawing, presentation and communication skills.
- Good design skills at building scale and detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and client facing skills.
- Able to delegate and manage personnel.
- Working independently and meeting deadlines.
- High level of contract admin experience.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
- Confident with Vectorworks 2014 and above.
- Demonstrable experience of RIBA work stages, construction procurement methods, UK building regs and planning.
