An opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Designer to join our award winning client, Concertus Property and Design Consultants.

As part of this role you will assist on all aspects of architectural design, ranging from presentations for clients to working with the construction team. Other duties will include:
- Prepare and present feasibility reports, and high quality design proposals to the client.
- Work around constraining factors such as planning legislation, building regulations, environmental impact and project budget.
- Prepare applications for planning and building control.
- Produce BIM compliant working drawings and specifications.
- Choose materials to be used and the requirements for the project, based on site and environmental criteria.
- React and resolve issues which arise during the design and construction stages of a project.
Essential:
- Be a member of RIBA – Royal Institute of British Architects.
- Good design and drawing skills.
- A keen interest in buildings and the built environment.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals.
- An understanding of the relationship between people, buildings and the wider environment.

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required with skill in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp preferred.
