Required qualifications:

- Hold a Bachelors or Masters of Architecture.
- Communicate ideas eloquently.
- Excellent graphic / visualization / rendering / presentation skills.
- Full proficiency in Rhino.
- Full proficiency in Adobe CS6 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
- Digital fabrication tools: 3D printing, laser cutting and cnc processes.
- Powerful architectural portfolio.
- Knowledge of environmentally sensitive and sustainable building systems.
- Currently residing in and able to legally work in the US.

Preferred qualifications:

- ArchiCAD, Maya Modeling, Grasshopper and After Effects.
- At least one to two years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate & manage programming and all phases of technical design.
- Perform initial and continuing building code and regulations analysis.
- Manage all technical aspects of construction documentation and construction administration quality and content.
- Work with Designers to ensure timely execution of design and delivery of construction documents.
- Manage coordination of consultants.
- Guide and oversee technical design team members.
- Oversee timelines, budgets and project related resources.
- Provide guidance and solutions for complex technical project challenges.
- Provide internal training for intermediate and junior staff members.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Architecture/Design industry.
- Advanced Degree in Architecture preferred.
- Registered Architect in State of CA required.
- LEED AP Preferred.
- Experience in high rise & hospitality based projects.
- Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings.
- 4+ years of REVIT specific experience preferred.
- Experience working in schematic design thru construction phases on various project types.
- Experience with high-performance building system & facade design.
- Knowledge of California building code.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working within conceptual and award winning architectural design firm and process.
- Solid understanding of team members' roles, responsibilities, perspectives, and information needs.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Revit, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign & Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Sketchup, Navisworks and other 3d modeling suites a plus.
