Russell Taylor Architects, a boutique practice specialising in Listed Buildings and NeoClassical Design, is recruiting for a experienced post Part II/III architectural assistant or a recently qualified architect to work on projects from concept through to completion.

You must be experienced in detailing buildings and working with builders on site, have excellent visual communication skills and a genuine interest in our field.

We currently have a wide variety of projects including conservation, restoration, refurbishments and new builds at various stages; the successful applicant will be expected to be involved in working on a number of projects simultaneously.

Applicants should have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, Outlook and similar packages, as well as the ability to hand draft. Experience with Mac computers is preferable. Salary to be negotiated based upon previous UK experience.

Allied Works Architecture is a 45-person practice with offices in New York City and Portland, Oregon. Current projects include international cultural, academic, corporate, and residential work. We are seeking exceptional Intermediate Architects/Designers for immediate employment. They will join our team in a demanding and collaborative studio environment in our growing New York office.

What we are looking for:

- Sophisticated design talent.
- 5-8 years of professional work experience through all phases of design.
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Experience with ground up design and construction on institutional and cultural building types.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Solid detailing and construction document experience with minimal supervision.
- Experience with consultant coordination.
- Ability to work within given deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a gracious disposition.
- Proficient in VectorWorks, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suites.
